ประกอบด้วยนักศึกษา 526 คน ในระดับปริญญาตรีและโทด้านบริหารธุรกิจและวิศวกรรมศาสตร์

โดยร่วมมือกับนานาประเทศเช่น ฟินด์แลนด์ จีน ไต้หวัน เนเธอร์แลนด์และอินเดีย เป็นต้น โดยมีผู้สนับสนุนหลักคือ บ.ซัมซุง LG และ SKT

KAIST จะทำงานร่วมกับสถาบันวิจัยวิทยาศาสตร์อื่นๆ เช่น ETRI (สถาบันวิจัยโทรคมนาคมและอิเล็กทรอนิกส์, Bluecean และ Woongiin ด้วย

วิธิการดำเนินการสำคัญของ KAIST คือ ให้นักศึกษาวิศกรรมศาสตร์และบริหารธุรกิจทำงานร่วมกันในการวิจัยวิทยาศาสตร์ในรูปของธุรกิจ ซึ่งนักศึกษาสามารถทำให้โครงการของตนกลายเป็นโครงการธุรกิจได้ผ่านทางศูนย์นวัตกรรมแห่งความสร้างสรรค์นี้  โดยที่ บริษัทต่างๆ ก็จะเป็นผู้สนับสนุนโครงการของเหล่านักศึกษาวิศวกรรมศาสตร์ในระดับปริญญาโทด้วย
